I'm sorry guys but tonight there are no excuses at all.

Coming of a 3 day rest, getting Sheed back, playing against a team on a back to back... and yet we're only up 9 at halftime because of missed free throws. In the third, instead of getting on their throats we let them get right back in the game, get their players hot, and we stop playing D or with any kind of desire/energy. Pathetic effort.

Edit : back to -13, which means more minutes for the starters in a loss. great.

this was insanely bad and to be honest i blame this on the attitude sheed has brought to this team.. This whole half is just sheed in a nutshell

How...?

I mean... just... how...?

hes a lazy basetball player, is always unmotivated, and simply doesnt show up games at a time!

Wow - Sheed didn't look lazy in that last Toronto game..torched the "Great Bosh" for 29 points, lol.....

where did i say i hated this team? please tell me....

Right now I hate this team. I heard all the excuses about the schedule after the Bulls debacle, well what's the excuse tonight? Let the Mavs shoot 80% in the second half, don't even try to contest Dirk's jumpers, run the old "pitch it to Paul and stand around" offense, just a freaking failure across the board. Things will be better when KG and Quisy are back, but there's no sugar coating the way they've played since Christmas. It's hideous.

They are just not trying. They need an upgrade somewhere. We are a very old team we need to get younger. I am sick of hearing KG is hurt were not healthy WE WON HOW MANY GAMES WITH KG OUT LAST YEAR. AND A WORSE BENCH THEN THIS YEAR! So stop with the excuses.

Right, back from slight afk-land. Working on a design while watching the game.

Not getting any happier though. Darnit. Come on C's, close this out properly with a W. We won 2 quarters, let's win a third one along with the game.

Kiorrik please enlighten us with some positivity it's needed right about now.  After 3 days off to see the C's being embarrassed in this fashion against a tired Dallas team is shocking.  All of the points Orlando, myself and a few others have been bringing up these last couple weeks under much criticism here have all come to fruition.  Every single one of them is now painfully evident.
Hard to tell sarcasm from honest questions on the net. If you want positivity; go read the first half comments when you were miraculously absent.

Do you show up when games go bad or do games go bad when you show up? :p Jinxer!

I posted at halftime about the C's solid effort actually --- you didn't address the issue of the post though seriously.

The C's are no more injured than many teams.  KG is great no doubt, Daniels is a mid level bench player.  The fatigue that has been talked about here over the last couple weeks in numerous losses is not a factor tonight.  It's actually the Mavs who have lost 3 of 4 and are playing the 2nd game of a road back to back.

it's just funny to me how posters here use the excuses for the Celtics losing --- but when it's another team facing those same obstacles and winning the same logic doesn't apply.  It's OK to be critical when a team has 3 days off, plays a nice first half then totally collapses in the second half AGAIN at home.  There is no other logical reaction to that kind of performance.

80% would be a great percentage even for free throws... :P

I blame Rondo for this game being a dud. He should have attacked more.
