When he set screens he has that hip check but it is he knee movement that is aimed at joint and it is subtle not like a that elbow to the kidney of Theis. That's playoff basketball but then all the tacky calls on Theis .
The hip check just playoff basketball but it could still injure but that that knee could damage a guys career.

Its the NBA.  Theis gets called for looking cross-eyed and Embiid is a star that can do almost whatever he wants, like leBUM.  I've thought for at least 40 years that the NBA's refs are worse than Big Time Wrestling.  I'm surprised they don't allow metal chairs to hit 'em over the head with.

What I hate the most is the flopping....these guys could clear out almost an entire bar but they drop like flies....my solution..?  .....follow baseball's rules regarding pitchers throwing at batters and umpire warnings....

First.....refs grow a pair
then at the first flop....a warning
next flop is a technical
do it once more and player is ejected

should take care of the problem....

Embiid could put on a boxing glove and walk up the court, blatantly punch Theis, and they'd call a foul on Theis and then hand out technicals to Brad Stevens and others on the Celtics for complaining  ::) ::) ::)

That flop by Horford was really bad. He made it look like he was punched hard in the head, but upon replay no one touched him.

It's quite funny reading comments from Philly fans who are convinced that the refs totally favor us and that Embiid gets hacked all the time without getting calls. They call us the Boston Crybabies. Oh, and apparently they hate Theis the most for complaining all the time.

Sounds too extreme for a flop lol. It's part of the game, unfortunately. Marcus Smart is one of the best floppers in the game too.

So, what, you think that refs are capable of 100% accurately telling a flop from an actual foul, and just choose not to right now?
I'm bitter.

I feel the same way. Almost every time Embiid gets the ball in the post he tries to shove Theiss out of the way, throws his body at him, coughs up a shot and the refs call a foul on Theis. It's not basketball. I want to acknowledge my Celtic bias but it really looks that way to me.

Embiid is a real idiot. Wanted to hurt Kemba last night, so obviously.
