Kyrie held this team back and so did horford. The b-ball went through him too often and he would squander it. Good riddance

Average al was the worst player in either team tonight

Yeah, I sill like Al, but he wasn't someone holding us back, he was a complimentary player from the time he got here.

Now if you want to say Kyrie held us back, I could go for that...:)

Daniel Theis has been playing well, but I would rather have Al Horford there to be honest. He's still an excellent defender and passer.

This.

Kyrie was holding-us-back-mvp last year. Hell, the case has been made for Gordon too. Oh and Terry Rozier was openly playing for stats. Not to mention Morris probably didn’t help much with morale either haha. Al has been praised by Tatum and others as the rock of last year’s team.

Al is playing either out of position or off the bench For Philly. He’s not the player he was last year just by default. He played great for what our team was and made an impact on this franchise that isn’t even nearly done being felt.

He anchored this team in 2017-18....

Can't fault him for going for the money. I have a feeling that in a week or so he'll regret it.

While I'll ALWAYS appreciate what he did for us in BOS he has to be ready to take some L's this post season.

Horford might have helped this team tonight.

However, I will say that I noticed he favored Irving and Morris on his handoffs last year.

That screaming putback he had tonight made me angry. Glad we got the win.

agreed. when he was a celtic he always played hard and played smart. he made the team better with his passing.

i was sorry to see him go, but ainge was 100%. his best playing days were over and he was not worth the money he wanted.
