I knew the Heat were aggressive on D based on just watching them, but I didn't know why.

Makes me feel good going into game 6.

Thinking Basketball is always good, and one of the nice things about the C's resurgence this season is getting loads of C's content on TB :) Thanks for the link!
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.

Draymond on TNT just now: “We’re gonna play Boston. That’s who we’re gonna play.”

Apparently Draymond is feeling good about our chances.

Everyone counting the heat out might be exactly what they need to gut out 2 more wins

Or Draymond is hoping his words find the Heat any they somehow pull out a miracle because he'd rather play them.  If I were Draymond I'd rather play the heat as well since they matchup better with the heat then the C's.

10 long hours away still from game time (and that's assuming the usual 8:50 start lol).

I think Green legitimately likes some of our players.  He's really advocated for Jaylen in the past, and has talked glowingly about Timelord  He's given Ime respect several times.  He's said that JT's goal should be MVP, because he's got the talent.

Cautiously optimistic. Don’t turn it over and keep the heat from getting offensive boards.

Good, but I hate all the "jinxing" going on (nickagenta, I'm looking at you with your new thread!).

Overall, pretty good.

Nervous but I think we take game 6 at home.

Also, Larry bird is gonna be in Boston Friday to present the new Larry bird trophy. You have to win!

I would almost prefer for Bird not to be in attendance considering how bad the Celtics play whenever a Celtics legend is in the Garden/being honored/presenting an award :P

That's my "totally irrational, there's no such thing as a jinx" fear.

More concerning: Celtics get overconfident and don't show up in the first quarter, or the Heat just have a lucky night shooting threes.

Assuming no significant out-of-the-ordinary play, we should win.

Mike

I listened to Tatum on Draymond's podcast a few months ago. Draymond clearly thinks highly of Tatum.

I wish he didn't say that, though. That kind of thing makes me nervous.

Got some Dunkin's (btw the Tomato Pesto sandwich is AWESOME and I highly recommend it to those who haven't tried it), and took a much needed midday nap. Feeling hyped for tonight!  8)

Nervous …

Nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rock n chairs.
