I don't like seeing davis the first big off the bench.   Tonight, Denver game, Davis played 14, powe only 9, i don't like it because i think Powe is a better player.  Last season it took almost half the season for Doc to play powe significant minutes.  Powe deserves that first big off the bench spot, and it will help us get wins if he gets that time consistantly.  Otherwise I agree with all of Docs moves roster wise.

Powe is the first man off the bench.

When he puts KG in and leaves Baby instead of Powe I think it has more to do Doc preffering to put Baby on the other team's big guy rather than Powe. Powe is pretty much strictly taking the PF minutes, while the back-up C minutes are going towards Baby.

What we need is Mcdyess playing Powes minutes and we need Powe playing Babys role. Babys not ready

  • Basketball is like chess, only without the dice
Powe doesn't have the size to guard the Nenes of this world.

Once baby loses 10 more pounds (its possible, he is not lean still) He will be better than powe.

Powe is an extremely hard working player but two things going against him is that certain matchups present problems(like vs nene tonight) and also his arsenal is mechanical to the max

Big baby once he gets into better shape will be a player in the league. He has quick feet, strength, passing skils, iq etc.

Both players complement each other well. But against denvers front players they were beat up good

How can you assume Baby is going to lose the weight?  Players like him usually put on weight as they get older.  He hasn't lost a pound since we drafted him, I don't think we should assume the lightbulb is suddenly going to go on.

Even if baby loses 50 pounds powe will still dominate him.  powe also has quick feet , strength , passing skills, i q etc.

How many mini-camps, summer camps and a full season of play. Stir in 26 or 27 playoff games and how much more weight is he really going to lose?

Face facts here, Babimous Fatimous has the same  chance of losing weight as George Forman.
