and he is already a championship ring holding starting PG that got his ring under the age of 23. As far as I know there are only two others, Magic and Tony Parker.

Any one know if thats the complete list?  TP's for this info.

By the way, I completely agree wit u Nickagneta..tp

checked as far back as DJ in 79 and theres none other than magic, parker, and rondo

thats pretty impressive

Magic should feel honored to be in such exclusive company  ;)

TPs Nick and Truck for a great trivia factoid...

Let's be honest - Tommy H is prone to overrating our PGs. That's where this idea that he is "overrated" comes from. Still he is a nice player. I think Tommy makes too much of his speed. But with Delonte he made too much of his "heady" play.

Yes, he's done a poor job once at the foul line, and he *must* improve significantly from there

Agreed, but poor guy is always shaking off major cobwebs from getting absolutely hammered whenever he drives to the bucket.

Rondo - when he's on - does a lot of good things for the ballclub that don't show up in the stats: setting tempo, playing defense, making good, fast decisions with the basketball.

But his lack of improvement on the offensive end is a concern, and leads me to wonder just how much he worked over the summer.

Overrated? He's considered a weak link in our offensive scheme.  Teams gamble off him.  How can he be overrated?
I believe he's underrated as a defensive player.  We will live and die with our young guard as he and KG are our tempo setters and PP the finisher.
As for Iverson being most overrated ever? I don't see that at all, McGrady comes to mind in current nba.

yeah, i guess you're right there.  i've never seen a guard who was that bad at the free throw line though.  it drives me insane.  pretty soon they're gonna start doing 'hack-a-rondo'...haha

Does anyone mind if I just start a thread whenever something pops into my head?

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
As soon as I saw the subject line I knew who posted this.  What surprised me was that he didn't talk about how great Jordan Farmar and Derek Fisher are.

I'd take this whole thread with a grain of salt.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I don't see where the whining comes in?
Maybe it's "Hollywood and Whine"  ::)
Well, most here do not care for any
more "Lakers are unstoppable" threads
either. Even if they are unstoppable.
This is CELTICSBLOG! Let's discuss
the Lakers, not drool over them...
