  • A true Celtic plays with heart.

Not gonna lie, even though that team wasn't that great. I enjoyed watching them play. From Phil Pressey running the fast breaks, Crawford winning player of the week, MVP Shavlik Randolph, and Rajon Rondo's face says it all about the roster.

Whenever I see Kelly Olynyk, my face turns to what Rondo's looks like!  I HATED THAT PICK for the C's, and yes I get that Dallas made the actual selection and he was traded.

I mean, if I was Rondo that probably would have been my facial expression too.  Tough to go from playing for titles to playing with scrubs, especially right in the prime of your career.

Of course, Rondo handled himself so poorly, both here and in Dallas that he does deserve most of the criticism he gets for that time period.

I actually liked KO when he was here, and relative to draft position, he was a fine pick.  But, Danny is the guy who put Giannis on our radar, and he just couldn’t pull the trigger.

Imagine a foundation of Giannis, Tatum, Brown and Marcus.  That team might be title favorites for a decade.  The defense of those four together is scary.  Plus, there would be other pieces around them.

One of KO's FINEST games, Game 7 vs WIZ

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9-r2d8Yh94

Coach Stevens turned Jordan Crawford into a STARTER in the NBA....dude seemed directionless until he got to BOS....

Just about everyone on that list improved and helped keep that team competitive.

Not the same as this team, but man I cringe a bit thinking of the team we had before trading for Isaiah Thomas with a frontcourt of Sully/Olynyk/Zeller/Amir. Omg those guys always got pummeled by other team's bigs, even the third and fourth stringers. Remember when Jordan Mickey was going to be our savior too!  :P

Also had some of the deadweight from the Nets trade, which obviously is and was a fantastic move, but boy those first few years after it were dreadful.

I think you could play 4 on 5 and still win with that team! :D

Coach Stevens doesn't get enough credit for molding talent..

KO improved his game...got better under CBS....priced himself out of BOS.

Jordan Crawford worked into being a starter. CBS gave him confidence.

AB and Rondo left but both had productive careers...and aren't done in the NBA yet.

IT4 was a runner-up MVP.....2 team All-NBA...

One of the better coaches in the NBA. And he's STILL growing talent. So glad he's got some serious horses to run with, now.

Oh for sure, not to mention he somehow made Jae Crowder one of the most coveted 3 & D wings. I still recall the days I spent up all night hoping the Kevin Love trade would've happened.

Then you had the Dayton Killer aka Chris Johnson.

I still remember this gem.

Vitor Faverani 15 points, 7 rebounds, 6 blocks vs Brooklyn Nets
