Rozier is always better at the end of a passing sequence...

IT kept us close early and then our bench gave us a boost. We are fortunate to be only down 3 after such a poor start, too many turnovers and bad shots to start the game.

Beautiful passing!!
Followed by bad possession by Rozier.

Terry "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" Rozier.

To be fair, though, Rozier wasn't necessarily part of the beautiful passing - he was the one who shot it.  ;)

JVG just said something kind of interesting "Good rebounding it hard to find."

He didn't say "rebounding" he said "good rebounding." Sully is back out there and he can rebound but the Celtics don't want just someone who can rebound. They want a complete basketball player who can rebound. In other words, "good rebounding."

I don't know if that's what he meant, exactly, but I thought it was interesting.

I think CBS wants bigs that can shoot. It's a rare big that can shoot and really rebound.

Which means that for as long as he's coach, we may never have a real rebounder. Awesome.

I don't think so. They want a big who can play in our system, not necessarily shoot threes. Someone who set good screens and pass is important, kinda like Bogut. Amir despite shooting well recently, is not a shooter but he can work in our system. It just means Bigs whose sole skill is rebounding/rim-running is a no-no.

That 1st quarter could've gone better, but it also could have been much worse.  You're never going to beat Golden State based on the first quarter only, but you sure as heck can lose to them in it.

There you go, KO. Now snap out of your shooting funk!

Great steal by Smart!

How come guards don't attack the dribble when big men bring up the ball?

Why is Rozier shooting a three that early in the shot clock?

Kelly playing fantastic tonight.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

He has to get up as many shots as possible while he's in. He does it every game...

Big Al!

I wish Stevens would be a bit more consistent with staggering IT and Al with the second unit, especially Al. His passing and playmaking with KO and Smart makes that grouping usually a pretty potent threesome.

Al...

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my

This is how you beat GS. Create turnovers. Get on the break.

Also: Great finish by HORFORD! Attack the rim!
