  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Ugh..that was the shin bone not the ankle right?
How many games does he miss with that?
Is he out for the season?
God reminded me of Rondo when Wade snapped his arm the wrong way...
Will post video when it's online.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Indy needs a needs a SF now if they want to stay relevant. Jeff Green fits perfectly with that team, a selfless teammate that can instantly fit into that lockerroom.

Sucks for George, he has become one of the preeminent players in the league.

Put a big warning up before posting the video.

It was gruesome, and yeah his shin bone bent in half.

My stomache is still in knots. I feel so bad for George.

that was a very gruesome injury. You really didn't expect that especially for a scrimmage. Basketball aside, I really hope George makes a speedy recovery

Absolutely devastating to watch. I wish Paul George a very speedy and healthy recovery.

I think 30 different players would have to break their leg for the championship to be in jeopardy.  Over/under?
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Can someone explain why these guys play these games so close to the season or at all for that matter?

Over 1000.  I actually noticed that too and thought it was weird, but wasn't sure if that was unusual for Celticsblog.

if his injury is the same as anderson silva, then i guess he can still play next season.

Oh man. That looks horrible. Reminds me of the Livingston injury (though not as bad - that was as bad of a leg/knee injury as I've ever seen in basketball). He's definitely going to miss time. Not sure about the whole season, but possibly.
