Awesome season guys. Good chance we win a championship next year. And most of our players are young. What a blessing.

TP's for all!

Remember at halftime when people were saying Brown and Rozier should continue to shoot because they were "open" shots  ::)

Hindsight is 20/20

Most games when we get those open shots, we'll hit them.

We needed someone we could rely on down the stretch, but Tatum just isn't there yet

Hindsight is 20/20 - except I was freaking out about this at halftime and the whole game lol

I don't give a crap if it's "open" - an above the break three on a fast break with 18+ on the shotclock when you're shooting that terribly is ALWAYS a bad shot for those guys. Let's just make that any non-corner three that early in the shotclock when they played that poorly previously...

And if they make more of those (which in most cases, they will), then people saying to keep shooting them look good instead.

No arguments from me about the ones with 18+ on the shotclock, though. There's no excuse for taking those when the shooting is off (just drive or take a couple steps in and take a midrange jumper!), but a lot of the shots we missed were good shots
I'm bitter.

I really thought when Tatum put a poster on Lebron THEN hit a 3 to give the C's a 72-71 lead, that maybe it was meant to be.

NOPE. Brown loses Green in the corner who hits a wide open 3, then we chuck up a bad shot, and on the other end Lebron passes to Thompson who walks to an easy dunk SMH.

Brutal. Great playoff run from the C's, but still felt like an awful way to end it. Lot of guys just didn't show up tonight.

Was it green who win it, or our guys who lost it

Smart and Rozier: 3-24, 0-14 from three

Uh I don't know about that, I think the surgery was to repair an aortic anurism, not remove his heart completely

Missed the game as I was on a plane...looks like Green killed us and Terry and Jaylen couldn't buy a bucket. Consistency...that's what these guys need to work on over the summer. That's what differentiates the great players from the good ones, the ability to deliver a consistent level of performance over a long period of time irrespective of the situation.

Oh well it was a good run, at the start of the year we would have all taken getting to the ECF and being one game away from the Finals. It's disappointing because expectations change over the course of a season, and even over the course of a series. We played so much better than Cleveland over the first couple of games and at home in general but just couldn't execute when it came to the crunch game. But they can be proud of what they achieved.

Gratz to Cleveland for their win and an entertaining series. As for LeBum, gotta take your hat off to him. Not much more to say. This might be his worst team since his first year back in Cleveland without Kyrie and Love and he dragged his team over the line. Hopefully the likes of Tatum and Brown see that type of commitment and will and aspire to be the same one day.

On to next year, when we get all our injured players back. It will be interesting to see what our team will look like and what, if any, changes there will be.

Who would have known that Jeff Green would be the one responsible for knocking us out the playoffs this year (we already knew LeBron was going to be a mouthful).

This loss leaves a sour taste in my mouth. We should have won.

Oh god don’t remind me that sequence hurt. It felt like we were going on one of those runs we did all season, where we just flipped a switch.

Sucks to lose at home but it was a great season. We have a lot of really good players and are only going to get better.
Celtics fan for life.

I just can't believe how many open shots we missed late. This was very disappointing. The season however was fantastic start to finish. I love this team. I just hope we can keep the core together and add Hayward & Kyrie. Our future is bright. I don't think I will ever regain my 519 Tommy points that I lost but it is what it is.
