Can't wait for the trade deadline to pass.

This will be one of the few times the Celts not getting involved in anything at the trade deadline is a good thing.

Woj says 3 way Kings/Rocket/Cavs deal that will send Shumpert to the Rockets. No word on other pieces yet.

Cleveland will send Alec Burks to the Kings, and Rockets send Brandon Knight, Marquese Chriss and a protected first to Cavaliers, sources tell ESPN.

Markieff Morris to Pelicans. Not clear for what but the salary dumping continues. EDIT: For Wesley Johnson. Wizards throw in a 2023 2nd.

I suppose the Wizards are a tiny bit lucky to have heard about Wall's re-injury a few days before the deadline instead of a few days after.

Maybe the Pels want to reunite the twins.

In July. ;)

That's another 2.5M saved in salary.  The Wizards must be close to being under the luxury tax line now.

Or he goes to Philly where he's from.

It's pretty funny the Pels traded for another Klutch client while refusing to call the Lakers back on Davis.

I would put money down that - if we would have him - Markieff would come to Boston to play with us. The twins have a pretty tight relationship that I think would supersede the KlutchSports connection.

I'm just not sure that we would have interest in Markieff with as many 3/4 types that we already have. I think an Ellington-type would be more attractive to us.

They told the Lakers what they wanted (i.e. all the young players, 4 1st round picks, 4 2nd round picks, and take on a bad contract).  If the Lakers don't meet the price, what is the point in talking more.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip
