I know Neymar and Thiago Silva at not playing but, my God.

This German team is unbelievably good.

They are, but this game for a large part it's Brasil doing some horrendous defending.

glad I'm not in Brasil right now.  Being white with a German last name I might get killed.

;D ;D ;D I'd be more worried with being Scolari, Da Silva or Roussef  ;D

Scolari deserves it.  He had all the time in the world and that s the best he could do? You Don t prepare Brazil to play like this.  It s not 'Brazilian' ! He is a defence oriented coach.  Good enough for Greece to replace Santos  ;D he did the same with Portugal 10 years ago.

Silva really was the glue holding this Brazil team together.  They miss his presence immensely.

Yeah, but Germany's playing some inspired ball, too.

First ten minutes were a bit wonky, but nothing but crisp, smart passes since.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Tightly contested game here... could go either way from where I'm sitting.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Their defense sure looks a mess but in 45 mins they failed to place a half decent shoot.

I don't think Brazil was beating Germany either way, based off of how Germany are playing today.  But I do wonder if things might have been different with Silva/Neymar.  That's the way sports go, though.

Lahm single-handedly shutting down their entire left side doesn't help.  8)

and no pressure or very unorganized pressure from Brasil and TERRIBLE ball control. They're just not playing world cup football. It's disgraceful, really feeling for their fans.

They very been like this since say one. They reached the semis just because of the weight the name Brazil carries...  Other than that it s an average team.

Neuer makes it look so easy!  He is like a wall.  He reminds me a lot of Schmeichel.

How about the future for Brazil? I can't figure out a good coach or better players for this very average team. Their right wings are old with no one to repalce them, there's no one to replace crappy Fred and no up  and coming players so far.
