Thanks Brad! Yet another game you've blown for us because you hoard your dang timeouts. Every single person watchign saw that possession was going nowhere, yet you stand there with your hands in your pocket. Such a joke. Should be held accountable for your continued flaws in in-game management.

There's only 1 timeout left and you are down 1. If you call a timeout and you do not score you are immediately screwed with that much time on the clock.

If you hold on to your timeout you always have the option of fouling and still can have a timeout so you can bring the ball up for a sidecourt throw in.

You think about scenarios like this and give yourself a chance and not put all your eggs in 1 basket.

Sometimes I wish Brad would just unleash JT and do away with his substitution patterns, specially when the other Cs aren’t doing much. It’s frustrating when you see JT going off and then Brad sits him down for a long stretch. He had like 37 points at the end of the 3rd and ended up with just 41.

I believe we have a Superstar in the making in Jayson Tatum....and JB isn't that far behind.

Proud of how the 21 YO stepped up today.

11 to 43 on bench points. Blegh. Tatum is heading towards superstardom.

This is what scares me come playoff time. Refs going all out to cater to Lebron and the Lakers

Tough loss.

We played pretty good. Brad has a few offensive schematics to iron out now that Tatum has gone galaxy-brain though.

very good point. Very little man or ball movement in the 4th quarter - way too much dribbling by Tatum.

Unfortunately, I don't see nice-guy Stevens pulling Tatum back, "Gosh, Jayson might get mad at me if I don't let him do what he wants."

As transcendent as Tatum was tonight, this game also exposed the next step he needs to take:  punishing teams with his vision.  When the Lakers sent two bodies at him, it largely stymied our offense.  We need to do a much better job of finding the open man when that happens, and it starts with Tatum.  I know it's not fair to ask even more of a guy who was already our best player tonight by far.  But if we're going to contend, that's a part of his game that he needs to unlock.

Frustrating to lose this one, but it was a great game nonetheless.  I didn't like how the referees involved themselves in the game the way they did.  But it is what it is.

Let's get the next one.

If Walker was playing today, Smart would come off the bench, strengthening our bench

I am definitely going to look at the last 2 minute report for this game and if it confirms what we believe, I am gonna spam that link at the Lakers forums.

Regs legit had video showing them the ball was off of Davis while he was going over the back on that missed ft, yet they still called it out on us.

I dont think you can play through3that kind if reffing. Look at that call at the end, they were prepared to take the winning shot away if needed.

It's games like this that make conspiracy theories look not all that crazy.
Still don't believe in Joe.

End of day I think they can hold their heads high, to lose by 2 where we got the short end of the stick with the calls and we didnt have Kemba, and we were playing away, against the leading team in the West, with Hayward shooting poorly and JB drifting in and out of the game. I like our chances against the Fakers in a seven game series.

He passed but only to his buddies Brown or Hayward

Pass it to the open man Tatum

Only criticism. Otherwise big time game

Very tough way to end a hard fought, close game.  Celtics bench got embarrassed, and really is a weak spot more often than not.

Yet another fantastic game by Tatum, though.
