i dont mind having a bad game. i do mind having a game that lacks effort and intensity.  >:(
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Our bench sucks for the same reasons our starters sucked when Hayward and Brown started. Those two can simply not play together. Rozier makes the problem even worse. Larkin would have been a great guy to integrate them.

Completely agree, they shouldn't be on the court together.

Completely underwhelming first half, Celts looking like they couldn't care less about winning this game.

Second quarter in particular. First quarter was ok but they were outscored 38-18 in the second, embarrassing to let Memphis score nearly 40, mostly due to defensive breakdowns, shooters left open on the perimeter, easy points from turnovers, etc. too many high risk passes from Kyrie and Smart.

One of the worst quarters we've put together in a while.  Bench again let us down big time especially defensively.

Grizzlies look like a way better coached team.  It's not even close.

Bench wasn't great, but starters got smoked in the last half of the 2nd quarter.  Sloppy, slow, poor D.   Every game I start out with excitement, hoping they'll show what I think they can... and they consistently let me down.  Terrible quarter. Terrible.

Gasol is picking apart our defense, making Al look like a scrub, and on offense we keep throwing the ball away

Defense and rebounding are effort, right now the Celtics suck at both. Stevens needs to wake his team up they are not playing hard. Missing shots is one thing but playing with no effort? No excuse

I’ve been following this team since I was a little kid in the mid eighties there have been many, many seasons worse than this. I’m in through the good and bad this season ain’t scaring me off so easy!

Completely agree as well, and for the life of me cannot understand why Stevens plays them together.

dont think Kyrie going stay on this team if they continue to lose
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Yeeshk! The early leads make you think the starters are good. But these consistent meltdowns? Is it because:

A. The bench plays with no intensity
B. The bench plays with no chemistry
C. Coaching staff isn’t adapting out there

We have collectively more talent on the floor at any given time.
