Not only zero progression from last season. But seems like has regressed

Missing crucial FTs and open 3s. Two out of 3 games now

Going back to the Raptor series. Missing those 2 FTs that could have cost the Celts the series

I dont get it for a guy who shot the FT at a decent rate in college.

Not an unfair assessment. I would add that he looks like he’s in worse shape than last season.

I’m also ready to move on from GW.
Grant to me seems like a popovicj type of player ... what can we get from the Spurs for him?

Isnt Brad a Popovich type of coach. Maybe Spurs will be willing to let go of Becky Hammond for GW.

I don’t think Becky would be an upgrade over Brad. Brad is doing his best but the rookies that Danny has him play are just not good enough for a contender.

I do not understand how this guy gets minutes. He doesn’t do anything well and is super undersized. Don’t get my wrong, you can be small at your position if you have athleticism and speed to make up for it, but he doesn’t....Brad going with him at the end of the game blows my mind. He is a G-league caliber player at best. Waste of a roster spot.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

He needs to be able to hit open 3's. He just needs to. He's an absolute liability without it. Bricked a wide open 3 in crunch time, and that can't happen.

Hate to say it but I agree.

Was a big fan of grant in college and liked the pick when we took it late first round. Thought he made solid contributions last season, especially being so undersized at his position.. but this year (so far) it seems like he’s regressed.

He played bully ball in college. Also good iq

But at the nba hasnt really stood out. Not bad. Versatile

But without the open 3... wont have a long career

Becky would be coming in to supplement the staff not replace Brad, but now that  you mention it I bet Becky can strol the sidelines with her hands folded or in her pockets as well as Brad does if not better AND she probably ignite more passion/energy in the players than Brad.

been saying this all season -- GWill is worse now than he was in his rookie season.  he had that unreal shooting funk starting last season but we could weather it with better players out there with him.  this year, not so much.  that and his D and rebounding are practically non-existent this season

I've been out on GW from his selection but I don't think he is bad. Just more of a 11th man not in the main top 9 rotation. You keep hearing from people close to the team that Semi and GW have little chance to be good playing the 4 and should slim down. I know with Hayward here they had to bulk for the 4 now everything has changed. Not sure if it's effected them long term. They are certainly behind on developing wing skills. I'd give him 10 games to turn it around.

Too early, guys.  They didn’t get the same off season to improve.  And they look tired.  Tatum is barely  driving.   Gonna be a weird season.

I was ready a year ago. Grant Williams is a likeable guy, but nothing more than an end of bench player.
If we can get some value for him I'd trade him, possibly in a bigger deal.

lol at the hot takes. Some of you have less patience for player development than Rick Pitino had.
