Cam Neely on WEEI sounded like he just came from his best buddy's funeral.

he has sounded that way for a while now.  he has the old school mentality and this team and all of its parts appears to be eating away at him

anything newsworthy that he said during the interview?

I didn't catch the end of it, but he eluded to a misjudgment by management in the importance of "locker room presence" compared with talent.  When pressed to name names, he came up with Axelson as an example of a guy who was great presence, who they let go in favor of talent.

he is spot on with his assessment.  i hope they make some moves in the offseason.  they still have some talent, but if they can find a few pieces to the puzzle to make things "click", they will be in great shape next season.

im wondering if cam will remove claude or chriarelli

Bruins looked great last night and improved their lead over the Thrashers ... great offense and Tuukka was awesome in the net. Hope they keep playing like this, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

back to back nice games/wins from the b's, and against teams fighting for playoff spots.  i would love to see them move up a few spots.  making the eight seed and getting swept from the caps in the first round would be terrible.

Yeah, I'm glad they finally clinched.  The goal-tending has been great, but I'm definitely worried about this team's ability to score goals.

Yup ... they've got the ability to score, but this team is just so inconsistent ... remind you of another team? ;)

We got the 6th seed and we're facing the Sabres.  I'm glad the B's have the 6h seed against the Sabres intstead of the 5th seed when we would have been facing Pittsburgh.

Heck I would have even rather had the 7th seed so we would have been facing New Jersey than the 5th and facing Pittsburgh.

im happy to play buffalo as well.  surprisingly enough, we have scored pretty well against them (which is odd considering our difficulty scoring this season along with miller in net for buffalo).

Gotta love Savard ... and they were worrying wether or not he'd be able to have an impact in Game One! Awesome effort by one of the greats!

Dang it!  1-1.

I was thinking that it usually burns a team when they fail to clear a puck in their own zone, and that's exactly what happened.

Sloppy play, after an overall good first period.  That stings.
