Should Memphis be fined for sitting out three of their key players tonight against the Wizards in a nationally televised game? Conley is out with injury. Gasol, Randolph, and Tony Allen are DNPs for rest.
Recall that San Antonio got fined for resting key starters against Miami in a nationally televised game. It would be a double standard not to fine Memphis, and if I was a member of the Spurs organization, I'd be disgruntled if they weren't fined by the league.
If I were a member of the Spurs organization, I might take it as yet another sign that David Stern's reign of terror is over and be glad.
