Each April and May I come to the same conclusion - the team that survives wins the chip.
Not on the paper favorite or more talented team in general.
Health is THE key to winning it all.

Another game, another completely different officiating standard.  6 fouls in the first 3 minutes evenly split between the two teams. NBA officiating is such an inconsistent, arbitrary mess.

And the league wonders why there’s so much animosity toward the officiating nowadays.  ::)

What in the world is Oladipo doing? That's the second time the ball has slipped out of his hands on a pull-up. Then a dumb mental error trying to dribble again afterward on the second possession.

Pacers getting out hustled by the Cavs bench. Very disappointing effort so far from them.

Every East team put in LeBron's way will self combust, it's a rule or something.

Just don't even get your hopes up.

Eh, I saw this Indy team giving them a tough series, but it's still difficult for me to see them actually pulling it out.

I think Toronto is a different story, though. They're probably only a bit better this season than previous seasons (primarily due to a much improved bench), but Cleveland is substantially worse than the previous three iterations that made it to the Finals.

Unless Bron goes superhuman for up to 7 straight games (very possible) or Toronto inexplicably chokes again on the big stage (also very possible), I don't think Cleveland will win a Toronto series.

The Pacers getting screwed by the refs due to their lack of aggression should be a warning for the Celtics going into game 3. Celtics got to come out aggressive and sustain it all the way through if they want to get anything.

IND hasn't been great tonight, but you really can't call them "chokers" or pretenders.

They could easily be up 2-0, it's just they got screwed by the refs in Game 2. Oladipo getting called for 2 fouls in the first minute of the game. REALLY?? I don't think you would EVER see Lebron, Harden, Giannis, etc. get 2 fouls in the first few minutes of a playoff game, even if the 2nd foul looks obvious (they'd just let them play on).

I'm still not convinced this Cavaliers team is winning it all, and frankly I don't see them beating PHI in a series assuming PHI stays healthy.

Sigh. Same old Pacers. I realize that this won't happen, but I hope that this makes Indiana fans at least realize just as to how great Paul George is and was for them. Seriously, where is Oladipo, and it has nothing to do with the officials, imo, with Stephenson, as usual, being the only guy out there who's actually doing anything ::).

Pacers start the 3rd with a 9-4 run and are still in it, BUT they really have to play it one possession at a time as opposed to trying to go on some 10-0 run in just one possession. Also, stop turning it over!
