Ok ...Cletics fans ...time to MAN UP here....

keep watching and keep the faith

PP will carry us on his back..

Id feel more comfortable with the truth instead of blind optimism.

The team is old, back to backs against young teams have been all but a guaranteed loss for the Celtics for the past 3-4 years.

We had a slim chance to win this game going in just under those conditions.

That injury and being out has REALLY messed with Bass's rhythm and just overall feel for the game.  He's looked terrible out there tonight and hasn't really looked the same since returning.

His jumpshot has disappeared.

I remember watching a Knicks/Celtics playoff game that looked like this.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

We look like we're running in quicksand compared to Turner, Meeks, Iggy, etc.  Put in Moore and Johnson. What can it hurt?

Well said.  The whole "don't give up, we can do it, keep the faith" thing only goes so far...and saying it when you get down by 28 doesn't really work.

I think we waited too long to blow it up.  We were riding a fools gold 5 game winning streak against bottom-feeders like the cavs and bucks ... and now we're going to limp into the trade deadling facing off against some respectable teams that will cement the long-standing fact that we're washed up, playoff also-rans and desperate for rebuild assets.

I hope our poor play doesn't jeopardize the trade value of guys like Pierce and Ray over the next week.  Should have offered Rondo for Curry immediately after his massive triple double, frankly... his trade value isn't getting any higher than that.

;)

They aren't playing but save for Rondo/Bass/Wilcox agree they are playing bad and need to step

They are tired of being in Doc's rookie dog house.  :-\

There is a very big difference between "blind optimism" and "rooting for your team".

Please don't call others blind optimists, cheers.
