As of 6:45 pm, Ray Allen the lone #Celtics player to show up and work out at the team's practice facility. No one else expected tonight.

Rajon Rondo's assist per 36 mins rate dropped from 11.4 to 8.0 when Ray Allen stepped off the court last season.

We'll miss him when he's gone.

He really just works harder than everyone else, it's not even close.

Wouldn't be shocked if he managed to keep playing past 40 if he really wanted to.

Carry on now, just couldn't keep talking about Rondo and Chris Paul.

Thanks for moving my post over Roy, didn't see this since we posted at almost the same time.

Cause he's old and the Celtics need to get younger fast. I wouldn't trade him though, he just keeps going like age is just a number.

Rondo and Ray were really clicking last year. You'll see a similar drop in Ray's 3 point fg% when Rondo was out of the game.

By the way, why isn't Avery Bradley in the gym with him?

I can understand JJ (no contract yet), or any of our free agents, or KG / Pierce.  I'm less forgiving of Green or Rondo, but they're established NBA players.  Bradley, though, should be back in Waltham and working out daily and nightly.

Isn't he in Israel right now?

Yes.

And Jeff Green shouldn't work out with the Cs until he has a contract in place.

Yeah, he's been in the U.S. for several weeks now, I believe.

JJ will be in Boston tomorrow but I'm guessing he wont be allowed in the gym right?

Avery should be there though. I'm really pulling for him but he needs work.
