THIS is the Golden State team that we know.

Curry is just ridiculous.

Agreed with Mike Breen. Gotta be delighted with Kyrie Irving if you are a Cavs fan. Cleveland have a real chance of winning this series with Kyrie playing so well. Gives LeBron a legitimate 2nd option.

Iman Shumpert saved this game in my opinion for the Cavs.  It just felt like the Warriors were getting primed for a big run, but Shumpert knocked down two huge 3s to keep the momentum at bay.

Regardless though, through one half of basketball, it only fortifies my opinion that the Warriors SHOULD win this series.

Dellavedova has been unplayable. I'd be amazed if Irving is able to survive playing the amount of minutes he'll have to.

Feeling good about my prediction.

Warriors looked pretty tight to start the game, got put off by the Cavs' physicality.  The bench unit steadied the ship and Curry came out there and played like the MVP.

The Cavaliers will fight like heck and make this series fun but the Warriors just have a lot more firepower and they're every bit as physical defensively, and far more versatile.

All from a run?  Of course they'll go on a run but that first half was pretty much all Cavs with their incredible defense and it should tell you that Cavs win win this series

b-b-b-b-b-ut that Cavs' defense, though!  ::) ::) ::)

Perhaps making bold proclamations after 15 minutes of play isn't the safest strategy.

Cleveland shot 19-44 and Golden State shot 19-45 that half. Such a "bold proclamation" to suggest that the Cavs can match up defensively.  You know, like the stats have said all along about them this postseason. ::) ::) ::) ::)

Not sure anybody said the Cavs weren't a good defensive team.  The doubts were whether they're a historically great defense, better than the leading-the-league-all-year Warriors, based on their ability to utterly shut down Eastern Conference tomato cans.

No no no, let's not confuse what you've been arguing the last several days. Nobody said they couldn't matchup defensively against them, everybody has been arguing against your claims of the Cavs being some historically good defense and having a "tougher" road to the Finals than the Warriors, which is absolutely absurd.

And, again, let's not act like the Warriors haven't been shooting themselves in the foot. They've played a half-quarter of good basketball so far, and it's a 5 point game.
