lol I know right.

Who said it was a myth? It was better in the second half and once Love went down it got better.

Tons of people were discrediting a Kevin Pelton article I shared about the Cavs in the playoffs because they'd been flexing their defensive chops "against a weak Eastern conference." Despite the fact that the article accounted for that and showed that the defensive improvement was largely due to actual improvement from the Cavs and not just weak competition.

How about we give it more than a quarter and a half before making this call? The Warriors have played like crap.

Livingston doing a good job of helping his bigs to rebound the ball.

Speights front-guarding Tristan Thompson on box outs. Not even looking to get the ball.

Warriors with early jitters, poor offensive flow and bad shots.  Missed some very makeable shots too.

They'll settle in and play better.

Because the Cavs' defense surely has nothing to do with the Warriors playing like crap. Not like they're smothering the Splash Brothers on defense and jumping passing lanes. Nope, no credit to Cleveland at all.

Please.

Sure, maybe it has some to do with it, but let's not act like this is all due to their defense. They obviously got the jitters a bit with how they're playing. They're making a lot of unforced errors that aren't due to the Cavs' defense.

You're just pushing that deeply flawed article that happened to agree with your viewpoint, and you're trying to validate it after 15 minutes of play.

b-b-b-b-b-ut that Cavs' defense, though!  ::) ::) ::)

Perhaps making bold proclamations after 15 minutes of play isn't the safest strategy.

Warriors shot something like 24% in the 1st quarter and got obliterated on the boards.   As poorly as they played up until Speights came in, they've tied the game.

Demoralizing if you're rooting for the Cavs.

Curry is really good.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Thompson is too quick and agile for Bogut to box-out. Gotta get Bogut more help there.
