I was pleasantly surprised that Pierce wasn't ejected for that or at least given a technical. The refs normally take an ultra hard line stance whenever there is physical contact between a player and a referee ... even if it's largely accidental.

what makes this punch even better is that rush tripped over the cameraman at the opening tip.  so he fell to start the game and got decked in the face too.  karma  ;D
