Corey Brewer joins Terrence Ross in this season's "how the hell did that guy score 51?" club.

Woah i missed that. Wow. Was he guarded by the defensively stellar Parsons and Harden?

Don't know - I think they play Hummel at the 3, so probably Harden.  Looks like they gave Harden some minutes at the 1 also, though, so maybe some Garcia and Parsons mixed in too.

Either way even more inexplicable than Ross since Brewer's been around a while and never been much of a scorer.

Bogut is injured. Probably forever and ever. Which hopefully means Barnes will get to play the 4 again.

Curry is a franchise level talent.

Warriors are going to be really vulnerable in first round without Bogut's interior defense.

Yeah, their match-up this year isn't good as last year. Looks like they're gonna play Houston. Denver didn't have a dominant big, Houston do.

Interestingly enough, in general, the biggest difference maker for the Warriors defensively has been Iguodala. The Warriors pretty much go from an elite defensive team, to a terrible one when he sits.

Anybody else watching Memphis-Phoenix?  Intense + close but a little sloppy so far.

EDIT: Gerald Green stripping Tony Allen, then TA with a buzzer-beater.  It's like the Island of Misfit Toys out there.

Yup.

Its a scary rib fracture as its the type that can puncture your lungs if it fully breaks. I can't imagine he'll be able to play in the playoffs.

Such a shame that Atlanta is in the playoffs while Phoenix is missing it.

Really hope they change the way the playoffs are seeded, sooner rather than later.

I haven't seen a proposal that I like other than the way they do it now.

Unless you're going to balance the schedule evenly which I don't see happening based on time zone and scheduling issues.

Knicks up 11 points after the first quarter tonight!  Not a lock by any stretch, but if they can beat the Nets and we lose to the Wiz tomorrow, we could potentially see the 17th pick instead of the 18th and lock in the 5th worst record simultaneously.  If the Jazz can beat the Wolves tomorrow it puts us in a tie for 4th, too.  Last two days of this, let's finish strong!  I mean....uh...weak!

You left out one important part of the #17  scenario -- the Nets also have to lose to the Cavs tomorrow.  Yes, the Cavs that we desimated on Saturday night.

Anyway, the Knicks are without Melo and likely will end up losing tonight.  But I agree there is some potential excitement tomorrow as the Nets would likely sit a lot of guys on the second night of a back-to-back heading into the playoffs.

So are the Wizards going to be competing tomorrow or what?

The Wiz are going up a terrible team (read: us) and could potentially move up a seed in the playoffs, so probably. Also, the Nets could rest starters and Kyrie should play tomorrow

it's not just moving up a seed, it's avoiding the Heat and surefire death in the 1st round if they can beat us tomorrow, so yea, they will compete like heck
