Defensive stats for the last 30 years have the best defense at the Pacers this year, right now.  Just beating the 08 Celtics.

The sound of "Brooklyn" chants in Madison Square Garden is music to my ears.

And it's always great to see Paul Pierce and KG smiling on the bench being up by 25 points at New York.

Where's J.R. Smith now?

I really think the Rockets get to the line too often for them to be fun to watch.

I'm telling you right now, Mia won't win the chip this season (baring injuries to other teams). They struggle to beat some of any and everyone. I know you'll probably say that Wade has been out... to that, I laugh! When you have the BEST player in the world and another star who is one of the best at his position, there shouldn't be the excuse that we are missing ONE OUT OF 3 superstars... that's pure trash! After all these games they keep talking about playing hard... lol you shouldn't have to play that hard with the players you have. Mia is one of the top teams for sure, I'm just telling you that people have figured out how to beat them... LeBroid is a monster but with all he has to do for them to win, it will wear on him. I don't care the shape he is in. People are being much more physical with him... when it's time to go hard in the playoffs he will be great but I'm calling he just wont have IT to battle a team like Ind in a long series. Injury to Wade isn't out of the realm of possibilities, if he goes down, they may win that next game but they wont have enough for anything more. LeBron's stats have been great and they are still fighting to the wire against the good, bad, and mediocre teams... everyone and their mother basically. I know people switch gears for the playoffs but Mia better hope they get there unscathed but with how hard they have to fight, they don't want to see Ind, Bkn, or even the craptastic Knicks. They better hope they get softballs until the ECF.

Oh man do I hope they face a combination of BKN, Ind,___ and if they make it to the finals, Spurs or another scrappy team with good bigs (OKC has no chance of beating Mia even with a healthy RW)!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Miami is going to get bounced in the 2nd-round of the playoffs this year!

Just like the Lakers after repeating their championships. They got swept by Dallas!

Looked like to me the Heat were toying with the Lakers.   Other than Pau ,  the Heat just ran over the Lakers as team.  Pretty much anytime James decided to play at full speed ,  a man against boys .

Best chance of OKC beating the Heat  left with Harden .   .......I don't think Durant  can score enough points  in a series to bet the Heat.   ......Even if he gets 50,,.. Not enough fire power on OKC . ...

Durant will have to wait his turn until James is too old to Dominate The league. This could be at least 2 years .  Then e might leave th Heat to be part of another dynasty .

Btw...I thought we played t Heat better than the Lakers , even though the ifinal Marin of victory was the same I believe.

LaMarcus Aldridge is a GROWN MAN, now.

He has quietly upped just about every statistical category this season. Man is growing into a LEADER.

He's playing the same as he has other years. His rebounding is up mostly up this season over last because Robin Lopez doesn't grab many defensive boards compared to Hickson.

He's just on a better team now, same player as last year.

So? I told this already in the DKC thread. Melo is a scorer. If you get him to score a lot and as efficient, he has done his job. Tonight was special

He's not on the floor to create for others, he's there to drop points for his team and efficiently as much as possible, and he did it. I don't care if he doesnt have an assist, it's not his role to put up assists numbers (although of course having assists adds up to having a better performance).

He's not a facilitator, I don't need assists from my scorers. He's also a Forward, a position which normally doesnt have high assist rates. I need him to drop buckets, at an efficient rate. If I want assists, I'd play him as a PG, get all the assists everyone wants him to get, but have his all around game suffer because it's not his role and style of play.

He also grabbed 13 rebounds, which was left out.
