Is the deal even financially viable? Nance's salary is more than the 125% +100k. Not sure if I've missed something obvious

I'd rather attempt one of those late first round steals that happen just about every year.  I don't think Nance moves the needle.  I'd also rather combine 26 and 30 to move up rather than give them both up for Nance....

I like Nance and this draft isn't great but that's a horrible deal. Pick 30 I might consider it but the team still needs a real center if they deal Kanter. This doesn't work for me until we get that Center.

What do you consider a real center?

Guys 6'9+, at least 250lbs. Have 7'+ wingspans, can bang and protect the paint. With so much focus on pick and roll we forget you also need size with mobility to stop lob passes over the top.

Nance is like 6'7 240lbs it's what Theis is. Plus we have TL. Do we want to rely on all undersized Centers?

I'll rely on all of my 6'5 Ben Wallaces and Wes Unselds

Yeah, that's what I was thinking would be the case. We'd have to either pick for Cleveland or pick someone the Cavs are hot on at 30. Guess it would all depend on our draft board
