Why didn’t Brad call time for the last possession after Kyrie scored with 11 sec to go? Get Smart back on the floor for defense.

You can’t call a timeout after your own basket.

That's right, I forgot that in all the excitement.

ihate losing ....but at least Boston played hard enough to win and i thought they might .

How can anyone think this with us losing that big lead....

I think CBS takes too many guys out when they are hot, and then holds for late in the game, when the team needs them most.

I also think we can see cracks in LeBron's athletic ability and playing beginning to show.  I will be glad when his era is over because he is one of the most boring ball dominant players I have ever seen.

^This.

Should have kept Rozier, Tatum, Brown & Theis in there. Kyrie was horrible and Smart wasn't good either. Yeh Kyrie made the last shot but what about the 16 or so that he missed?

Rondo is still my favourite player on the floor last night.

I was surprised by that. That none of the current cast of Celtics have overtaken him yet.

I would love to see Ainge bring Rondo back to be the backup PG next season.

basically irving was non factor last night,  he was off and brain seemed 1000 miles off .  Did he fall off the end of,the earth and crack his head ? .  It was simular to playoff s ...bron vs our young guys

Needed mored from Irving to make a difference

Bron did everything but carry the water bucket.

Well, that was a tough loss but on the bright side it helps our Kings pick. Every Laker win Helps our Kings pick....

takeaways from that game:
- If Demps was watching, Tatum looked like the best young player on the court last night from beginning to end.  Ingram didn't look like much and Kuzma wasn't doing much until the end of the game.  Brown also looked like the second best young player on the court last night.  He should be pushing Danny for both of them to start with (not that Danny should give up both).
- if we had gotten anything mildly productive out of Kyrie, Hayward, Morris, Smart or a little more out of Al, this game would have been a fairly comfortable win for the C's.    They only had 8 Turnovers, more foul shots taken and made and out rebounded them (surprising) yet lost because LA was an insane 22-41 from 3.
- Every starter was a "-" for the night - glaringly so.  Every bench player was a significant "+".  Brad should have rode the bench for a lot more minutes.

Mine too but I'm not surprised.   I really don't have much of an affinity for the current Celtics besides Robert Williams.  Just hate that he's on the Lakers playing with Lebron.  However, I definitely don't want to see him on the Celtics again while Stephens is coach.

NICE!

Gives Irving two shots at the line, Celtics up by 3, Lakers get like 1 second to inbound the ball from full-court.

LeBron James would've 99% nailed a game-tying 3 from 75-feet knowing him. Or Kyle Kuzma for that matter, since he was hot.

I consider the Kings pick mostly a lost cause at this point, by virtue of the Kings being so much better than anyone anticipated. Pretty much everyone—including Ainge, I'm sure—thought that would be a top-5, maybe top-3, pick. I don't have any expectations for it at this point.
