The Lakers shot 22-41 from deep and won a last second Rondo jumper.

What're ya gonna do about that?

Just shake your head and move on.

Not blowing an 18 point lead in the second quarter by playing lazy ball and making incompetent coaching decisions would be a good start.  ;)

Play defense. Lakers are a trash team, it NEVER should've come down to a last second shot
Still don't believe in Joe.

Finally. Some logic.

Does it suck to lose? Absolutely. But i'm boy training ramming my head into a wall over this or wishing for opposing players to get hurt.

Good for you.

One of the worst losses of the year. Lost a game on Toronto. Embassies themselves on national television.

And to that effing rat Rondo.

Just abysmal.

Ra? really?
Yup. Dude quit on the Cs and some fans had the audacity to cheer for him during the intros. Guy is a loser.
Rondo didn't quit on the C's.  may not have played all out every game but he didn't quit on the team when he played here
Nope. He most definitely quit on the team that season.  It wasn’t a surprise they started playing better the moment he got his butt traded.
not sure what you were watching that season but he didn't quit on them.  saying they played better without him is meaningless considering how often teams have a better record for awhile when their top player goes out or if they lose an important player
Yeah, I remember that season a lot different. I remember him not showing up with strong effort every game. Putting himself above the team. Not a huge fan of his. Never was.

This was the only game all year were Rozier deserved more time and he got less. Brown should've played more and Morris less. Smart, Kyrie and Morris shot 8-36 and Theis, Brown and Rozier shot 21-30! Brad needs to ride the hot hand!

Oh well.  We'll beat them in LA.

They might make more free throws next time, but they won't make nearly as many 3's.

No they won't. They're getting swept by LA lol. They couldn't even put them away at the Garden with an 18 point lead what makes you think they'll beat them at Staples Center ugh. Plus the Celtics aren't even a good road team.

We're going to play better post All Star Break as we always do.  The Lakers had a fluke game today.  It's basketball.  Large leads evaporate all the time in the NBA, everyone who watches basketball knows that.

We will win in LA.

If by going to play better post ASB when Hayward returns in Utah form then I will agree with you. Otherwise, I doubt it. No moves have been made in the trade deadline either. The Celtics need bigs who can rebound but what Stevens probably seeks is bigs who could shoot 3's. Large leads don't evaporate if you get your butt back on defense and call TOs at the appropriate time.

ALSO, the next game against LAL will be on national TV ABC. You can bet Rondo and LeBron will put up triple-doubles and 50-pointers again.

Triple whammy of a loss lol.

1. We lost to the Lakers at home
2. We lost to Lebron James
3. We lost to a last second shot from Rondo

Blech

4. Toronto gained another game on the Cs
5. Cs back in 4th place in the east

Rondo misses that shot every time he attempted as a Celtic. Goes to the Lakers and loves it up with James....the guy all of the Celtics hated and still hate.

He talks about Ray being disloyal...look at that.

Hate to say it, but there's a character problem with this team. We hold an entitled attitude - unjustifiably, mind you - after all the hype we got this summer, and it has been present since Day 1.

This team doesn't have half the heart of the IT-lead teams, or even last year's team for that matter. Add that on top of a God-awful offensive gameplan, poor coaching, and the chemistry and injury issues we've had this year, and that's a recipe for an underwhelming season.

Celtics are going to end up in the 4/5 seed vs the Nets and they might not get out of that alive.

This game reminds me so much of the Lakers game last year in LA. Hopefully Smart doesn't slice his hand open.

People keep blaming Stevens for not playing the hot guys but I don’t want a reactionary coach.  I don’t care how well rozier played.  I don’t trust him and prefer the starters no matter how they have played.  The starters are better players..

You can’t have a coach substituting every game like it game 7 of the finals.  Guys need to get their minutes on a consistent basis.

Wah. Wah. Wah. Call the wambulance. We lost a game. By 1 point. On a Rondo jumper.

Would you feel better if I hoped you blew your knee out?
