I'd take a flyer on him for a 2nd rounder I think.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Me too. There are lot of players that teams are dumping before or at the draft. There is some good young talent to pick up.

The report is they are "considering" offers either late first or early seconds. We have #51 but what is HILARIOUS is they are CONSIDERING it when the guy is terrible other than defensively.

Sure...

That being said, I'm not too optimistic on Frank's future. He needs to develop an offensive game. Seems a little late in the game to acquire an entire arsenal of skills.

The Knicks passed on Mitchell, Smith jr, both Collins, and a bunch of guys who are getting rotation minutes to take Frank N. lol

At least when things aren't going well for us, we can look to the dumpster fire in nyc.

Isn't he only 20?

Frank is working on his shot.

He is a very solid defender as well. Definately worth a late first for a bench pg.

Look at smart in year 2 and compare to frank.
If team is looking to trade smart frank is a good replacement

Here we go again. James Young was under 20 for how many years and how many years people would say he is still young and give him time. We don't need to wait on another guy that "frankly" stinks. For the #51 pick - sure - a 1st round pick - NO WAY.

I'm just saying to say a guy is a bust after two seasons being 20 saying it's late to get  to develop skills at this point is silly.

He can defend and pass really well. Saw video of him guarding Irving last year and he was giving him fits. He doesn't need to be a lights out scorer, but just a competent one. Look at Russel, he was looking like he was going to be a disappointment, and now he's exploding. Not saying Franks going to do that, but he was playing for the Knicks who was tanking so who knows how much they put into developing him. Put him in a new environment he could be much better. Even a solid back up PG.

And to use Young as an argument that all 20 year olds that aren't averaging 15+ a game are bust is just lazy. Young's issue was between the ears, low BBIQ. Look at Smart, every one counted him out from day one not being able to shoot, same with Brown. Brown put those thoughts to bed, and Smart has become pretty decent where you don't cringe nearly as much as you did in his first couple years.

Apparently there are a few teams at the back end of the first round looking for a pick in the early 20s. I'd happily convert 20 or 22 into a late first and Frankie. As a back up point guard on a young team there isn't much risk
