Marcus Smart is having the worst game of his career.

Not sure where you're getting this from. He's not having a good offensive game by any means, but he's playing good D and has had many other games where he's looked much, much worse than tonight.

Would adding Jimmy Butler or DeMarcus Cousins help this team right now in this game?

It would help BUT this team CLEARLY has more issues than one...

That's why staying patient, bringing in Zizic, drafting Nets Picks and developing Smart/Brown/etc. is the "smart" move going forward.

He's been disappointing on D, shooting horribly, and passing terribly. He's been really bad.
