Not that it matters for more than a couple of players, but I assume anyone that was in the NBL before it merged with the NBA is available.  The players were sort of just folded into the league and given to existing teams, but obviously weren't actually drafted (there is one guy who would absolutely be drafted that fits this bill).  I also assume since the NBA has taken on the BAA history, the few BAA drafts will be considered NBA drafts for this purpose.  Again there are only 3 drafts and it might not have anyone drafted from them, but want to make sure we are all on the same page.  And I think we talked about keeping territorial picks out, but I don't know that we ever decided that for sure (again only a couple of guys would get drafted in this thing that were, but Wilt would potentially be a game changer in this if he was was available).

Maybe once we get closer in the draft or league thread, the commish can just list all of the ineligible players so we are all on the same page.

Yeah, I'd say that territorial picks shouldn't be allowed. By what I've researched, territorial picks were chosen before the start of the regular draft, as a way for teams to cut the line and get home grown players to drum up interest from their area.

So now that we have a draft order, should we go dark on mentioning players?
Yeah, good call.

If everyone can do their best to not mention players that’d be great :)

Were we going to do 10 rounds of drafting or 12?

I kind of like 12, but am fine either way.  Those extra 2 for specialists or binkies adds something in my mind.

Yeah, I'm leaning to 12 too. I love adding in a couple of guys who in terms of talent don't belong at all, but hold a special place in my heart

Brian Scalabrine here I come.  And sorry for mentioning a name of an available player, but I just couldn't help myself.

And I got to thinking, what if at some point we do the exact opposite of this draft, i.e. only top 10 (and territory) picks are available.  Sure the talent at the top would be insane, but the back half of rosters would be very interesting when you try to fill out the roster with the Kwame Brown's of the world (and he is far from the worst top 10 pick as he at least played 12 years in the league).  On some level I think that could be fun as well.

That would be crazy, and super intriguing. Something I could get behind down the track after this

I just did it using https://www.random.org/sequences/ to get an easy sequence, allocating everyone a number 1-10. Thought it was just the easiest way to ensure complete randomisation

DRAFT LOTTERY RESULTS:

Pick 1: Who
Pick 2: nickagneta
Pick 3: RPGenerate
Pick 4: Gouki88
Pick 5: Moranis
Pick 6: Somebody
Pick 7: Celtic Fan Forever
Pick 8: Jvalin
Pick 9: Rikibelevie
Pick 10: Darth Yoda

Draft will be Serpentine in nature, so picks will reverse each round
Ugh, tough luck. I have 7 players in my 1st tier and I ended up with the 8th pick. I guess I deserve this after landing the #1 pick in the previous draft (and trading it away in a stupid deal). :P
I have 8 , and it's not like the people in front of you will 100% select the lads you have on your board.

So who can we send our draft board to if we won't be present when the 1st round is held?

I can take them, assuming the time of the draft suits me
