There are 3 upgrades that the C's have available to them without any trade deadline moves: 1 - KG returns; 2 - Daniels returns; 3 - Pierce gets back to 100%.

Pierce is looking closer tonight.

Rondo is going to inherit DJ's old nickname, "The Turnstile"

Why is Villanueva bothering to wear his headband at all?  It's on the OUTSIDE of his mask.

Looks like Pierce and Rondo are looking to feast on their defenders tonight.  We should be up more than 5 though; let's not give Gordon a chance to start giving a crap about this game.

Man, why is it a turnover when anyone else besides Rondo tries to pass it?

You know how Paul can get calls? When he plays against a rookie. Sad, but true.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Jerebko is built just like Prince.

If they never zoomed in I'd think it was Prince having a bad night.

Pierce is a big dude that has good speed. Jerebko has guts to stay there, but he still didn't take it on square.

Hey Villanueva!  Let's take all these bricks you're putting up, let's put em all together, and let's build a shelter for the homeless.  So your sister can move out of my house!  Your mother too!  I want your sister and your mother out of my home immediately!

Name it!

This game is a carbon copy so far of recent Celtic play --- they appear to be dominating the game and have run out to a nice first quarter lead.  Their energy level on both ends is great as the C's have 6 steals already tonight.

Paul Pierce is very aggressive so far tonight which is a great sign.  He is driving to the basket in addition to hitting jumpers.

The key is for the Celtics to sustain this effort for the entire game, not just in spurts as has recently been the case.
