Game 2 MVP Poll Results: BOS 96 CHI 80

Some seriously smothering D by the C's tonight rendered the Bulls helpless in the first half.  The Celts were in total control of this one from the get go.  I thought Perk set the tone early, and KG picked it up on the glass.  Predictably there were a few sloppy spells in the 2nd half, but really, the Celts gave the Bulls zippo to look at whenever they wanted to.

It was tough to get a good feel on Rose's 2nd game as a pro, due to the lopsidedness of the game, but clearly the guy can get to the glass.  He just had no one to dish to tonight.

Some other thoughts:
- Big Baby seems to have 3 or 4 plays each game where he alters the path of a loose ball.  It doesn't always end up in the Celtics hands, but it changes the flow of the opponents offense at the very least.
- Powe is improving on a daily basis
- Vinny D's got his work cut out for him, but don't judge him by tonight.  The C's smelled blood tonight and attacked hard.

One to Pierce for crashing the boards and one to Rondo for giving up the body so much.
