I think the only way he explodes is that he eats like Sully.   I would love to be wrong at that though.

It's doable for him I think, but it'd depend on us making a decision to go with him over Sully. I think he can easily hit 15 points a game. The kid has all of the tools to be a big-time scorer in this league someday. But even being 7 foot tall, I'm not sure he'll ever get 8 rebs and over 1 block a game.

The world of the NBA simply goes too fast for Kelly. The only way for him to survive is hold on, and push, and grab.

I'm not seeing it.

He doesn't need to explode.  He just needs to keep getting better.  He can create mismatches on the offensive end.  If he can give up less to defensive mismatches, or rebounding mismatches, that will be good.  Heck, if he can just learn to keep his arms straight up while contesting a shot, that will go a long way towards keeping himself out of foul trouble.

He'd need another level of aggression to explode like that. 

The good thing is that we've seen flashes.  When his shot is going, he's able to take over a game with his passing and shotmaking ability.  But those games are few and far between.  Mostly he seems content to coast.

thanks for the link. but since i cant see what their second year production was it is very hard to see if the third year production was an explosion, a pop, or a squeak.

He redshirted after his sophomore season. So that jump occurred in a span of 2 years.

I disliked the pick, then I grew to really like him, then I gave up on him. I bet a lot of CB'ers feel the same way.

Just think there is no fight in that dog, he is too nice and passive.  Lacks the killer instincts of the good ones.
