Bahku...you have been unkind!  Oh, well.  It could be worse...I could be down 5 bases instead of 4...

I hope Freddie Freeman has a big chip on his shoulder after his ejection last night.  For game two I pick:

One thing our "ripe" ages have afforded us, my friend, is knowing that this kind of luck never lasts.

That's why I'm short on banter during playoffs and why I never watch the games that I have a stake in, cuz I know it's just a matter of time before I'll be feeling the sting of reality.

If I say too much, that eventual embarrassment is all the harder to swallow.

I know how a trapped animal feels!  Is 10 bases impossible to come back from?  Sure looks improbable...My husband was jumping up and down and saying, "I told you to pick the Dodgers...why don't you ever listen to me?!!!" I'd say you're pretty safe Bahku.  Even if you lose the series somehow, the worst your averAge is going to be is 2.6  which should be more than enough to grab the 4th spot!
