I learned at lunch today that the Clippers just announced that Kawhi will play tonight. Why is it fair for opponents to guess whether or not the best player on the opposition will be available to play. Does this not affect game preparation and game planning. Why is Kawhi entitled to this special treatment. What will  happen if every other team decides to place their best player on the Kawhi rules. Yeah lets keep opponents guessing whether or not they have to go against the 'best' player in the world

I'd rather that he plays - along with George and Beverly.

No excuses if we can beat them.

I agree, but at the same time its tough to address. The NBA can't dictate medical advise for players.

It's been going on forever.
Take it as a compliment. Doc thinks he needs Kawhi to to beat the Celts.

We are missing the our best team leader and play maker , Hayward .

Without him , Im afraid we are just going to have to take our lumps

It is what it is ....all the best players want to live in CA .  I think that is the biggest issue .

There's no rule that says teams have too announce who they are playing ahead of time. Brad Stevens routinely withholds his starting lineup untill the last minute.

I don't think its a problem competition wise, maybe for gamblers and fantasy players. But its very hard to regulate.
