Celtics had more turnovers than assists, 19 to 17.
Gotta improve our ball security - I hope they realize that turnovers is what cost them the title last year.
If I was Mazzula, I would be harping on the turnovers every day and improving our offensive schemes to give the players more options.

A lot of those turnovers were on offensive fouls, and a bunch of questionable ones at that.  Ball security was just fine.

They also stepped out of bounds 2 or three times. Again, not ball security, just lack of awareness where your feet are

Watching Hauser and Vonleh contribute to winning basketball reminds me of how important it is to have your foundation pieces set so that role players can feel out their role, especially players with NBA skills that have otherwise struggled to find their role.

I really do believe our lack of depth in previous years was because of multiple factors. Yes, it was partially the front office, and yes it partially was those players failed to develop, but it was also because Tatum and Brown were still trying to figure out their role.

I fully expect us to be able to churn out multiple bench players a year now that we have a solid system and cornerstone pieces in place.

This game looked fairly easy for Celtics to me , Heat pretty much were bulldozed over  by waves of  talent Boston put on the court.

On to next game  :)

Jaylen looks amazing.  The classic cliche of "the games seems to have slowed down for him".

Great team win, but he really jumps out as taking his game to another level.  The passing especially.
Yup

Seems like Butler had a pretty decent game but in all honesty I hardly noticed him throughout the entire game.
