Bad interceptions by Mac are killing the Pats.

Tom Brady is not walking through that door

Play calling has been pretty terrible, too. No idea why they are taking a ton of risk throwing downfield down 5, halfway through the 3rd Q. It was just stupid.

Not defending Mac for those decisions but there have been many press conferences/interviews where Mac and the receivers have said this offense is trying to scheme a lot of 50/50 balls and "jump balls" into their offense and you definitely see it on the field. Obviously it hasn't worked as well and some of them have been easy INTs for the defense, but I feel that's more on the coaching tbh especially if that's the playcall.

Mac Jones carried down stairs to locker room screaming in pain.

Thanks O-line. Really glad Bill decided to trade away Shaq Mason for a 6th round pick. Awesome strategy with that one.  ;)

Not surprised by the loss, I expected it going in.

But while it was a fun/competitive game, that was also very frustrating too. Definitely winnable for NE

Mac and the offense definitely did a lot of great things and made strides which was nice. HOWEVER, as @nick said, those INTs were killer. One of them legit cost them 3 easy points which may have really mattered late and affected how the rest of the game could go (would have gone from 31-26 to 31-29). They also went for it on 4th and short in the 2nd instead of kicking a FG which may have also been 3 points right there. And also, those 2 Wynn penalties in the first two drives which killed those drives and probably cost the Pats 3-4 easy points there. Overall, just felt like they left at least 10 points out there.

As for the defense, sadly I got PTSD watching them lol. That 3rd quarter and early 4th sadly reminded me of those Bills games last year late when we legit couldn't stop them, and it wasn't just that they were scoring but doing so so easily. They did force a turnover though it was still a big completion before the receiver just lost the ball. May have been a lucky break.

With all that said, I really, really hope Mac is okay. Though it didn't look good :(

Maybe some good news, that it's not season-ending (hopefully)?

Really needs an MRI and/or CT scan to see what is torn/ruptured. He couldn’t put any weight on it and was clearly in a lot of pain. Probably a grade 3 high ankle sprain.

Moranis, Tried to tell you about Devante Parker. 3 catches 107 yards. If healthy, he can be a #1. Problem is he misses a lot of games with injury.

4/132.

5/156.
was he injured the 1st and 2nd week?  You know when he had 1 catch for 9 yards total. He is a pretty classic #3 type WR.  You know a guy you forget is on the team and then every once in awhile does something spectacular. He had a nice game today, he will have more, but it doesn't mean he isn't a #3 WR unless he keeps doing what he did today against an injured secondary.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

So which WR#3’s are putting up 5/156 yards in 1 game? And which WR#3 have had a 1200 yard/9TD receiving season. I’ll wait.

Weirdly, there were a few breakout games by #3 / borderline #2 receivers this week.  8 / 169 / 1 TD for Devonta Smith.  8 / 158 / 1 TD for Mack Hollins.  9 / 147 / 0 TD for Chris Olave.
