Sources: Oklahoma City is trading Vit Krejci to Atlanta for Moe Harkless and a second-round pick.

I assume he gets waived?

Krejci?  Yeah.   ;)

As for the Thunder, they had 16 fully guaranteed contracts plus a partially guaranteed contract in Krejci, so now they're up to 17.  Don't know if Harkless gets waived or not, but I'd say either he or Favors are likely to be cut, along with one of Maledon and Jerome, as well as Aaron Wiggins (who's not guaranteed).  Prior to the trade it was going to be Wiggins, Krejci, and most likely one of Maledon and Jerome, so this trade definitely bumps someone else closer to the chopping block.

Well, hopefully it’s Favors and Harkless, and we sign both.

Root for Aaron Wiggins to have a great training camp then.

Very concerning

Is this his third surgery since he got hurt in January?

That sounds like a healthy player-coach relationship… Ayton will be gone by the deadline.

We could trade for Harkless with a TPE. Maybe cost us a second round pick. He is the definition of a journeyman.  Not sure how good he really is. Favors would not fit any of our TPE I don’t think. Not sure he’s better than Vonleh.   Interesting players if they do become available. I think there will be others as well

This would be a terrible trade, as OKC literally just got a pick for taking on his salary.  We could have done that easily enough if there was any interest (which there rightfully wasn’t — Harkless hasn’t been that good).  As a potential minimum-salary guy after he’s waived, he’s fine, but he’s worth no more than that.
