Banners don’t come cheap. Will already be in luxury tax territory anyways.
Yes, Ferrari has its price.

Yep. And Wyc has been making serious bank the last few years, the C's have been under the tax - and in some cases under the cap - and still making deep playoff runs.

Add to that the skyrocketing value of franchises - and likely THIS franchise in particular, especially if we win titles - and ownership has plenty of incentive to spend.

Morris will be coming off the books next year, and possibly Yab and Baynes as well. Bird's contract might well be voided. Horford comes off the books two offseasons from now and, at his age, will need a smaller deal if he wants to stay.

The salary cap should hopefully further climb.

There's a decent chance we can actually keep most of this core intact, including Rozier.

I don't think it is at all likely that Rozier stays with the Celts. On the one hand, he will get starter money in free agency and I don't think the Celts will match an offer of that size. I also think playing time is an issue. He's a third string point guard on this team, there are teams he could start on. He's not going to be happy in that situation and will agitate to be allowed to leave. It's one thing to be a team player this coming year, when he's under contract, it's another thing entirely to sign a multi-year deal on a team where he is going to be a third string player for the foreseeable future. He's going to want out IMHO.
