Nuggets made all Sports analysts pee in their pants specially when the Clips were up 3-1...would have made a lot of money there if you bet against them right there.

Boy is there any other team in the NBA more cursed than the Clippers?..they never lacked the all stars needed and at one point had CP3 and Blake and now Klaw and PG yet still another frustrating season where they come up short of reaching the WCF. I mean i thought they were just cursed living with the Fakers in the same building so these bubble games theyd be able to get over that hump but nah...2nd time in franchise history blowin up a 3-1 lead to reach WCF...that is some choke job.

Oh and if you ask me if they can continue their magic waltz against the Fakers?....forget it. To even have a chance they should prevent another 3-1 deficit.

So, what are your thoughts - do the Nuggets have any chance against LA?
I've already written them off in 2 series' that they've proceeded to go on and win. So I'm going to say definitively they have no chance ;D

Not Doc's fault.

Paul George, Kawhi and Sweet Lou basically shot LAC out the game...DEN played decent defense but those three missed some open shots.

13-49 FG with those 3....and St. Nik is a MAESTRO....he GIFTS his teammates. Get that man a SANTA SUIT I'm serious.

I'm not counting them out against LAL.

13 times a team came back for a 3-1 and won the series .... 3 times against Doc's teams....

Man, I was wrong on the Clippers.  I thought they were the team to beat in the NBA this year.  Thought they'd be the team to come out of the West.

What an absolute egg by that team.  Multiple games in a row.

My All-Time Great Playmaker Team:

PG - Magic
SG - Luka
SF - Larry
PF - Bill Walton
C - Nikola Jokic

Bench - Arvydas Sabonis

I'd have to bump Luka to the bench.  No way is Stockton getting left off the starting lineup.

No need for Walton and Jokic. They'd get in each other's way. Limit one another's passing because they both want the ball in similar areas of the court and for the offense to run through them.

Better to play with more of a combo forward type than a 2nd center. So play Bird at PF, keep Luka as a starting wing and move Stockton into the lineup while dropping one of Jokic or Walton.

That said I'm not sure I'd bother with Stockton with Magic in the lineup. I'd rather have Magic at PG than Stockton. I'd go with someone else. Some sort of wing.

Hard to see how any of this is Doc's fault.

Looks to me like it is on the player's shoulders. They crapped the bed.

Jokic with 16 points, 22 boards , 13 assists and 3 blocks in a game 7. People still think AD is going to be able to handle him?

AD can't handle Jokic but Jokic cannot handle AD either. He who is more aggressive / assertive is the one who will come out on top of that matchup.

All I know is that sports media treating Bam's block like it was straight from Hollywood...

And seemingly NOT giving Smart the same recognition for HIS sensational game-saving block on Powell.

There IS media bias outside of BOS, lol.

Look - I get it - Bam made an AWESOME play. But give Smart the same due, please.

Obvious solution is to have KG as the PF . Seriously though, he's one of the greatest playmaking bigs of all time and comes with the bonus of being a non-ball dominant superstar. I might be tempted to go with:
PG: Nash
SG: Luka
SF: Bird
PF: KG
C: Jokic
There might be some overlap with Nash and Doncic, but Bird/KG/Jokic are such scalable superstars that I think it'll work really well, and it isn't like Doncic doesn't know how to move off-ball.

The impact coaching has on a team is subtle and intangible with the overt and tangible being a, relatively, miniscule part. The players have a substantial impact on the success of a team, so it is difficult to distinguish where the line is drawn.

Doc’s teams have underperformed on too many occasions to continue to excuse him by blaming the players. Too often during Doc’s tenure as HC of the Celtics, inferior teams would make games and series more difficult, regular and post season.

Also, for a “player’s coach”, chemistry issues have been a question on several of his teams (Rondo vs. vets, Bradley vs. Ray, Paul vs. Blake and DJ, 2020 Clippers).

Doc should be fired. The trade for PG never made any sense. Clippers would be so much better with SGA next to Kawhi.

Yes that’s how I feel about this series: huge mismatches on offense for both teams. AD and LeBron are going to put up 60-70 points a game. But the only way Denver wins is if some magical defender capable of limiting LeBron appears or the rest of the Lakers team collapse (very possible).
