Maybe Stevens can hire Doc as an assistant. He can give the motivational speeches when needed.
He's gonna need a new job soon, it seems.

I think Rivers is finished.

Worst is Leonard forcing Clippers to trade the farm and how many 1sts for a shaky George.  Clippers have SGA and may have been able to close this series

*Lillard Bye-Bye wave* to Beverly.

Guess you can't just turn it on come playoff time after resting your stars all year. Also having a nickname like Playoff P is just asking for it.

33 2nd half points for the Clippers. Ouch.

Also Lou Williams, PG13 + Kawhi combine for a total of... 31 points.

There's no defending it. The Clippers choked, BIG TIME. And it's on a lot of the players (not just 1-2) and also Doc. Idk how you can keep Doc Rivers as coach after that either.

Kawhi's legacy will definitely take a hit here. Also, George looks so stupid for saying "they're in the drivers seat" recently. This guy's nickname should permanently be, "Pandemic P".

He’s in the back seat instead of the drivers seat

I never rated PG13 I don’t think he’s got the mental toughness to deliver under pressure

Who would they get to replace Doc?  Who's available that's better than Doc?

Not Doc's fault.

Paul George, Kawhi and Sweet Lou basically shot LAC out the game...DEN played decent defense but those three missed some open shots.

13-49 FG with those 3....and St. Nik is a MAESTRO....he GIFTS his teammates. Get that man a SANTA SUIT I'm serious.

I'm not counting them out against LAL.

Nate McMillian would be interesting.

I'd have to bump Luka to the bench.  No way is Stockton getting left off the starting lineup.

Kawhi's legacy will definitely take a hit here.

I don't think Kawhi's legacy takes a hit, he's already a 2x Finals MVP.  You can point to poor statistical performances in close out game losses for a lot of all time great players that nobody thinks about now.

But I do think Kawhi had a chance to take his legacy to the next stratosphere.  It could have been 3 championships by age 28 (technically he's 29 now, but this is only because the season was delayed).  That's ahead of Jordan, LeBron, Bird, Curry. Shaq.  And to do it with 3 different teams, 2 of which could have been in back-to-back  years, that would have been incredible.

Doc using the “they’ve been together for longer than us” excuse

It's too bad Zubac didn't come down with a mild ankle sprain or something and have to sit out, then Doc could have used his "nobody has beaten our starting 5" excuse.

The "drivers seat" to drive back home to LA. Buckle up Clippers, it's a long ride home from Florida.

Paul George = one of the most overrated players in the game.

I loved what Jokic said in his press conference when informed that it was Mike Malone's birthday:

"I told coach that I was going to give him a great present after the game...either he was going to go home to see his family, or we were going to be in the Western Conference Finals"
