Big  center type  that  can play on the level as TL and Thompson,  but has no age or health baggage issues= this man can be depended on to play 30-35 minutes every game missing no more than 15 games a season .

The requisite amount of mental toughness and heart.

Forget about health ... this team will never have it.

A tall point guard who can actually defend and not give up as many points as he scores.

Main need is 15 or 20 games where everyone is playing together and that hasn't happened once this season.

I was concerned with everybody else about the youth on the bench, but, if everyone is playing?

Smart
Walker
Brown
Tatum
Robert

Fournier
Thompson

There's your veteran bench.

Pritchard is too young, but he played 140 games in college and maybe Stevens doesn't give him many minutes anyway. These guys don't "lose" games and mess up in big moments.

That 7 player rotation is good enough to get to the ECF...if they only came together.

Keep these guys together though. Next season one more good vet on the bench?

Yeah, I'ma side with health, playtime, experience and killer attitude.

All of these I believe can be solved by father time. That attitude will come from losing a bunch.

Actually (lol self quote) I wanna add to this.

I think it's important we keep this core together a bit longer.

What happened in '07 is a huge series of gambles, paying off in the end. Building up assets, working people, hoping for the perfect storm. You can't just *count* on that to happen.

I feel that if we'd keep Jayson, Jaylen and Kemba (and secondly Robert, Payton and Evan) around for a couple years, we could see MASSIVE improvement. Purely off of growing as individuals and as a team.

I'd love for us to land 3 super-stars again, but I believe more in giving 2-5 years to a group of people that are learning to compliment each-other more and more. Getting more and more used to each-others play-styles.

I'm keen to keep the crew around for a while.

Flat out, this is a stacked roster and full of youth.

Kemba is old but still dynamic if he gets healthy. Fournier is solid bench scoring and a legit starting option as well.

Pritchard, Nesmith, Smart, Tatum, Brown, and Rob Williams.....big time talent with this youthful group. You gotta love it.

Adding them all up, that’s a solid core of 8 that you can work with to finish your championship roster.

Thompson is solid big man depth. Can defend. Always ok to keep because what he provides is always needed, as a starter or bench guy.

Need another star big to go with Rob, and/or a better fitting pair than the Tatum/Brown combo. Since Tatum is the better player, I think you look to see what Brown can get you. You also look to move Marcus Smart if the value coming back is there.

If you can get a couple pieces or even three, that are better team fits, you trade Brown or Smart. Just all depends on the value of the dollar coming back. I trust Ainge in this.

You could also see what Kemba gets you since Pritchard looks like a legit starting option at PG.

The development of Pritchard and Nesmith is something to keep an eye on. Both players look like legit prospects. It’s still very early but they could make huge jumps in the coming years if the work is put in.
