I知 waiting for the new contract trade restrictions to pass then getting the Warriors on the phone to fleece them

Warriors receive: R. Lopez, Bertans, Beal

Wizards receive: Wiggins, Oubre, Wiseman, 21 Warriors pick, 21 Timberwolves pick, 23 Warriors pick, 25 Warriors pick, 27 Warriors pick swap

Yes you are helping Warriors possibly become a contender again, but that痴 the point, the Wizards suck anyway so by also agreeing to absorb Wiggins terrible contract and giving them Bertans you are setting up the Wizards for the next 5 to 10 years. Wizards would be assured a top 5 pick this year with their own pick and possibly T-Wolves too and if not it rolls over and you can get a shot at 22 top pick and when the GSW team ages out you will have them in a Brooklyn situation that got Celtics Tatum and Brown

That's a lot of future to give for the right to compete for maybe a couple of years, excluding this one since Klay won't be back until next year.  Very short-sighted move by Warriors. I doubt they'd consider this, not on those terms.  Wiggins is playing pretty well for them right now too.

I agree with the logic but would expect a smaller trade package.

Warriors get Beal

Wizards get Wiggins, Minn 2021 1st, Warriors 23 1st, and Warriors 25 1st

Mavs
Wiz
Hornet

Warriors giving up way too much here.

The reason some of these teams are giving up a large number of picks & swaps is because they have no high end young talent to trade. GSW does. Wiseman is a blue chip prospect and that 2021 Wolves pick they own is also a high end trade asset. They don't need to give up lots of future picks on top of those high value assets.

Insane amount for Golden State to give up. Wiseman + Oubre + the Wolves pick would be a good enough package for Beal IMO
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Doubt Warriors would do that
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin
