IT4 may be limited in what he can do on defense, but his extremely wide repertoire of offensive skills makes a vote for him seem kind of silly to me. He's shown he can create points in a wide variety of ways including playing both on and off the ball, with outside shooting, with attacks inside, in transition, by dishing assists, by creating foul pressure on the defense, making free throws, etc., etc. He's even proven to be a powerful decoy - sucking huge amounts of attention by the defense. The only reason THAT role hasn't resulted in points is that his (remaining few healthy) teammates sucked at hitting shots off kick-outs.
He's easily as versatile on offense as you could reasonably expect out of any player.
And while he's not an elite defender, he's shown that he can play his role as Brad as asked him as part of a very, very good defensive team. And that role has asked him to not only defend point guards, but just as often if not more he's asked to guard much bigger players so that Brad can put Avery on the point. And for the most part, that has worked.
I'm sorry. But I think it makes no sense to vote IT4 down in, 'versatility' compared to some of our other players.
