Totally uncharacteristic of us. Surely Smart's absence isn't that much of an effect.

Not the only excuse, but there have been a lot of games where it starts like this and Smart comes in and gets it back in line.  I think it really matters though.  If you ask me he is the best defensive player on this team.

Rozier really overdribbling.  Get into the offense.

Yeah, it's a combination of that and early season issues. The second unit is definitely a direct result of that. Neither Brown nor Rozier were very good defensively on the perimeter at all during the preseason. Lots of missed rotations and miscommunication out there.

I'm hoping its first game jitters for Rozier on both ends.  Aside from like one play he has looked pretty bad.

But I thought Horford wasn't a big upgrade for us defensively over Sully?  ;D
