Sorry if some things look a bit uneven within the schedule formatting here, but anyways we have 24 games left in the season. Right off the bat, you can tell this is a tough stretch to end the season with.
After the break, we are on the road against MIL and then after the CHI game, find ourselves with a road game against TOR. Even after that, our 3-game homestand is real tough against POR, WAS (team that always gives us trouble), and HOU. Follow it up with a 4-game West Coast Trip against Golden State and then three teams all fighting for the 8 seed in the West. OOF. Basically, the next 10 games we have is extremely tough and we're going to have to try and navigate past it without doing horrible (like going 3-7 or worse). If we can, we're in a good spot.
Also, one thing's for sure. We CAN'T have letdowns against bad/mediocre teams and we'll definitely need Kyrie to be healthy and play as much as possible for the rest of February, most of March and early April hopefully until we have a 3 seed locked up (or 2.. we could dream!).
We've bounced back well from recent adversity and both Hayward and Brown have looked fantastic lately. Both are improving and that is key going forward. I say we'll finish the season on a wild 16-8 run with some big wins, heartbreaking losses and exciting games overall to finish the year at 53-29. Hopefully that's enough for the 3 seed in the East.
What do you all think?
