Starting a dedicated thread for this. I'd love as much input as possible going into the new season, on what kinds of improvements people would like to see.

Some things we've considered in the past:

Social login - a bit of work, but logging in with Facebook, Twitter or Apple ID might help more people post and register.

Mobile layout - potentially a big undertaking, but we might be able to get a better experience by collapsing some things on mobile, working with the zoom etc.

Games - maybe a player pick 'em in the game threads where you could buy-in for the season and we'd do some prizes at the end?

Subscriptions - for those that want to support the site and get an ad-free version?

Other misc?

In CelticsBlog I liked the forums/sub-forums tree as a sidebar.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

On Game Thread days, ensure that the site doesn't lag or crash or anything of some sorts lol!

I felt like a jerk for calling you out on the ads Byennie so I'll be the first to say I would consider an ad free subscription model.

I'd imagine figuring out the price would be tough though. I was just about to bite the bullet and get an Athletic subscription so my digital dollars are about to get squeezed again.

Shame you cant bundle it with that or ESPN+ or DAZN or something because that would be a no brainer.

I think he means with the mobile view. I find that frustrating, as well. You have to try and quote another poster to find what time and date the post was from.

Ah, good catch. Part of the trick on mobile is paring down some of the information but that seems like a good one to resurrect, thanks!
