I'll never get this game right. Whenever I've picked Stephen Jackson, Gerald Wallace goes off and whenever I pick Gerald Wallace, Stephen Jackson goes nuts. I'm definitely a volume scorer with a poor shooting percentage.

Sorta like the Allen Iverson of PAPOUG. My final numbers look okay but upon looking closer, it's pretty obvious I miss way more than I make em.

I've been having trouble lately too.  It seems like I consistently pick players that beat their average by a couple of points.  That's nice, but a +2.5 doesn't win much.  Whenever I have a better game, a few other people have spectacular games and I still get nothing from it.

Regressing to the mean a bit, I guess, after a lot of luck to start the season.

I think that's one of the reasons it's so fun ... we all have pretty much similar odds of winning or sucking ... you just CAN'T know when a player is going to have a great night and go off on a team, so there's not a lot of skill to it ... unless, of course, you're clairvoyant like Kwhit, I don't think anyone will ever catch that guy! Over-confidence will bite you in the butt with this game, too ... I got up to third at one point and thought I was really getting the hang of it ... since then I have totally sucked, lol. Wish we could get more people signed on, but I guess the fact that we have so many games head-start is a bit discouraging for newbies ... too bad we couldn't account for that somehow.
