The Grizzlies would like to thank Mike Conley for his time in Memphis.
He is an outstanding player that led our franchise, together with Gasol, through the most successful years we had as a franchise.
We wish him and Rabb nothing but the best in Miami.

We'd also like to welcome Goran Dragic, Josh Richardson and Bam Adebayo to our team, we are ecstatic to have them and are excited to see them play.

With Conley and Gasol now gone it's time to start a new era of Grizzly basketball!
Memphis Grizzlies
PG: Dragic, Ball, Carter
SG: Temple, KCP, Holiday, Washburn
SF: Richardson, Anderson, Parsons, Casspi
PF: Jackson jr, Beasley, Watanabe
C: Adebayo, Green, Noah

The Heat Organization would also like to thanks Goran Dragic for his years of service as we'll as Josh Richardson and Bam Adebayo. We think we are sending Memphis 3 outstanding players and wish them all the best in their new home.

Welcome to the Heat Ivan Rabb. Per Shams Chris Bosh has been hired as a development coach to work with Ivan.

Also per Shams Dwayne Wade feels "rejuvenated" by the news and Conley's presence will factor heavily in his decision to return for another season in 2019-2020.

**Trade Announcement**

Mike Conley is on the move.

The Memphis Grizzlies have traded Mike Conley and Ivan Rabb to the Miami Heat in exchange for Goran Dragic, Josh Richardson, and Bam Adebayo.

http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y97bh9tf

We the Miami organization have been looking for our franchise Point Guard and we believe we found him in Mike Conley and we look forward too many championship runs to come.
You have got to be kidding Miami!  They absolutely had to do something to unload some guys but that is not at all what I expected.  Says a lot about Whiteside, Waiters, T.J and J.J. contracts  .  I don't get this at all.
LOL thought this was real.  Did not realize I was in a MOCK thread.
I'm going to give you a TP for that real-life reaction to a mock trade.

Trade Announcement:

The Washington Wizards have agreed on a trade with the San Antonio Spurs. In the trade, the Spurs would receive Dwight Howard and John Wall. The Wizards receive Pau Gasol, Dejoute Murray, and Lonnie Walker IV.

As part of the deal, John Wall has agreed to waive his trade kicker (per an unbiased third party decision), because he is being traded to a playoff team with a great coach in a state that has no state tax.

http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y7t6hnb4

The Wizards wanted to do right by John Wall, but it became apparent in recent years that it was time to give Wall a new opportunity with a new team. Pau Gasol gives the Wizards an experienced unselfish basketball player to pair with their young core. They reportedly loved the pairing of Murray with  Beal and Satoransky in their future backcourt. They also really like Walker IV, and he will be given an opportunity to compete for minutes on the wing with Brown and Dekker.

In a related move, the Wizards have waived Chasson Randle to bring their roster to 14 players.

Wall, Demar and Aldridge on the court together.

The Spurs will never make another 3 pointer.

The Nets would like to thank both D'Angelo and Allen for their contribution to the rebuild in Brooklyn. We were thrilled to be able to send you to a top-4 team in the East where we hope you will challenge in the Eastern Conference Playoffs.

We welcome both Tyreke and Bojan to Brooklyn. We are excited to add a future draft pick and look to increase our cap flexibility, but possibly retain both players as Brooklyn becomes a top-tier team in the East.

Spurs would like to thank Pau Gasol and their bright young players Murray and Walker for their time and effort they put into the team.

We are excited to bring on Wall and explore a new path while still contending now and for the future. We also pleased to bring in Dwight Howard.

Trade Announcement:

The Wizards and the Kings have agreed to a trade. The Wizards will send Otto Porter Jr. and Ian Mahinmi to the Kings for Nemanja Bjelica, Harry Giles, Kosta Koufus, Zach Randolph, Ben McLemore, 2020 2nd round pick (Detroit), and a 2021 2nd round pick (Memphis).

(trade machine not generating links but it does work)

The Wizards will waive Koufus, Randolph, and McLemore as part of the deal to bring their roster to 14 players.

The Wizards organization would like to thank Porter for his years in Washington and they wish him the best on an up-and-coming team in Sacramento. They also welcome Nemanja and Harry to the team as they continue to retool around Bradley Beal.

The Kings would like to welcome Otto Porter Jr to the team.  We feel his addition can help play a vital role in developing into a modern team in the West. His addition allows us to play in two different ways. We can play a more traditional lineup with Fox/Hield/Porter/Bagley/WCS or we could go small and focus on shooting with Fox/Bogdan/Hield/Porter/WCS. We also believe Mahinmi can provide a lot of value behind WCS.

We also would like to thank Nemanja Bjelica, Harry Giles, Kosta Koufos, Zach Randolph, and Ben McLemore for their contributions to this season.

That's not how it works. You'd have to cut players on their current roster before the trade can be made. Can't do the trade and then cut the players. Teams aren't allowed to exceed 15 players (not counting 2-way contracts).

Deal in flux as the Washington organization has egg on face.

Instead, they will waive Sam Dekker and Gary Payton II, which brings their roster total to 15 players, without the 2-ways.

;D ;D

Shams is reporting that the Pels were really high on Porter but they failed to meet Washington's valuation for the player. :(
